Hi, I’m Jacqueline Boyd, CFD | Birth & Postpartum Doula, Educator, and Founder of Eden & Embrace
I do this work because I know what it feels like to be unheard — to have questions dismissed, to carry quiet worry, and to navigate a system that doesn’t always recognize emotions as part of the story. My own journey through feeling dismissed or shamed taught me compassion, advocacy, and the sacred importance of being truly seen, emotionally supported, and not rushed.
My calling runs deeper than titles. It’s a legacy. My grandmother and great-grandmother were doulas long before the word existed — women with warm hands and steady voices, who supported mothers not only with wisdom, but with presence. They held space for emotions, not just births. Their legacy is the heartbeat of Eden & Embrace.
Today, I carry that lineage forward — now combined with modern perinatal training, trauma-aware education, and PSI-informed emotional wellness awareness. My support is attachment-focused, emotionally safe, and deeply human. I walk beside families as they navigate birth, postpartum recovery, and newborn rhythms — helping them feel calm, confident, and connected in this sacred season of becoming.
You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to know it all. You simply deserve support that honors your intuition, protects your mental health, and helps you feel less alone.
