What Is a Fertility Coach? (And how to know if I need one)

Trying to conceive can be one of the most tender, emotional, and confusing seasons of life. Between the apps, the testing strips, the conflicting advice, and the deep desire to feel seen and supported — it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and alone.

That's where fertility coaching comes in.

But what exactly is a fertility coach? And how do you know if you need one?

What Is a Fertility Coach?

A fertility coach is a trained professional who provides personalized guidance, emotional support, and education for individuals or couples trying to conceive. Fertility coaching blends both science and intuition, helping you understand your cycle, your body, and your unique fertility landscape — without judgment, overwhelm, or one-size-fits-all advice.

Unlike fertility doctors, who focus on clinical procedures and medication, fertility coaches support the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. Fertility coaches don't replace your OB/GYN or RE ( reproductive endocrinologist). But we do serve as a powerful first step— often before you need to invest thousands of dollars in fertility treatments.

We help you understand your body in a deeper more intuitive way, often using Fertility Awareness Methods (FAM). This means you’ll learn how to track your cycle patterns, interpret cervical fluid, understand ovulation timing, and spot potential red flags naturally — before restoring to invasive testing or medication.

Sometimes, what you need isn't a $15K procedure — it’s clarity, education, and consistent support. Fertility coaching bridges that gap. For many, it’s a missing piece that can either bring results on it’s own or lay a smarter, more empowered foundation before pursuing medical care.

Who is Fertility Coaching For

Fertility coaching is for anyone who feels like they’ve been left to figure this out on their own.

It’s especially helpful if you:

  • Are trying to conceive (now or in the near future)

  • Want to understand your cycle more deeply

  • Are feeling burnt out from doctors, apps, or inconsistent information

  • Prefer a holistic, heart-centered approach

  • Want to be emotionally, mentally, and physically prepared for pregnancy — whenever it happens.

You don’t need a diagnosis to deserve support. And you don’t have to wait until you’re stuck. to ask for help. In fact, many of my clients say they wish they’d started sooner.
